The culmination of a 12 month socially engaged project, The Knot On The Fly is a multifarious exhibition comprising installation, multi screen video, 3D printed sculptures, printmaking, and letterpress print on hand made paper. Generously co funded by Cork County Council and Creative Ireland, the work reflects on and celebrates the rich history and cultural legacy of the Youghal Carpet factory. The exhibition considers the entropic nature of our digital culture and the diminishing role of touch and manual skill in contemporary work.
